Links Technology is currently seeking a motivated and skilled Test Engineer III to join our client's team in Vandalia, OH. Our client is a leading firm specializing in advanced mission payloads, electronic systems, integrated aircraft, and orbital and space exploration systems. This is a contract role offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies within the Aerospace and Defense Industry.
Responsibilities of the Test Engineer III:
- Develop complex test plans and procedures for a variety of systems to ensure the verification and validation of all product requirements.
- Execute tests using industry-leading tools and document results.
- Simulate, test, certify, and improve products and services.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary design and development teams to achieve a specific goal.
- Test system and component-level new products and develop new test processes throughout the product lifecycle.
Qualifications of the Test Engineer III:
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or other related discipline.
- 5 years of hands-on experience in engineering.
- Proficiency in requirements management, system design, and systems integration.
- Experience with planning, conducting, and documenting Verification and Validation (V&V) activities.
- Experience with various testing equipment, standards, and methodologies, including manual and automated testing.
- Familiarity with Product and Quality Assurance principles and experience in generating and disposing of product non-conformances.
- Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience performing certification testing for various certification organizations (i.e. FAA, NASA, DoD).
- Strong documentation skills.
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
