ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

LinkUp Corporation is seeking a motivated and self-directed Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing financial and administrative services to support LinkUp in an effective and efficient manner.
This position will be responsible for the following Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize and process the documentation necessary to perform 3-way matching of all invoices, receipts, purchase orders and other related backup.
- Monthly review and reconciliation of vendor statements.
- Maintaining relationships with vendors and employees by solving issues and discrepancies.
- Monitoring and responding to direct emails and Accounts Payable group emails.
- Develop, maintain, and execute a personal checklist to include daily, weekly, monthly, and year-end tasks to be completed.
- Contacting vendors to obtain necessary documents needed to process invoices and payments, such as W9s, payment/bank details or other items.
- Research, resolve, communicate and escalate issues as needed to avoid supplier credit hold and late payments.
- Proactively communicate all discrepancies both internally and externally as needed for prompt and accurate processing of all invoices.
- Maintain interdepartmental relationships with routine interaction at all levels of management to ensure AP related transactions are properly reviewed, approved, and transacted in a timely manner.
- Complete other duties as assigned by management.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- 1-2 years of successful Accounts Payable experience.
- Strong attention to detail and well organized.
- Excellent listening and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate Excel skills.
Compensation:
This is a part-time position with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.
