Alcohol & Drug Department (Classification 713)
SEIU Represented Full Time (37.5 hours/week) position
Classification as an Addictions Specialist 3 requires Oregon licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor or a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Licenses Clinical Social Worker, or certification as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor - Level Two.
Must be able to pass a criminal history check and possess a valid Oregon drivers' license with an acceptable driving record.

The Linn County Alcohol & Drug Program provides prevention and treatment services to youth with Substance Use or Co-occurring Mental Disorders or Problem Gambling. The Program is seeking an experienced clinician to provide outpatient substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health treatment services, primarily to youth and their families, including clients on parole or probation and parents involved with DHS Child Welfare. Individuals in this position provide consultation, early intervention, and treatment services in Program clinics and at community agencies. Services include substance use and other mental disorder evaluations; individual, group, and family therapy; case management; and community education and consultation. This person would work closely with the staff of referring agencies, including Parole & Probation and DHS Child Welfare. Some evening work and travel to outlying clinics in Linn County is expected.
Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field is required. Two years post-master’s degree supervised experience in a similar position, and four years supervised experience (pre- or post-master’s degree) in addiction treatment. Classification as an Addictions Specialist 3 requires Oregon licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor or a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Licenses Clinical Social Worker, or certification as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor - Level Two.
