Mental Health Specialist 1 for Adult Outpatient - East County Offices
Mental Health Department (Classification 772)
SEIU Represented Full Time (37.5 hours/week) position
Linn County Mental Health is recruiting for and experienced mental health therapist to work with adult consumers who experience a range of symptoms including PTSD, depression, and anxiety. The person filling this position should be skilled in assessment, individual and group therapy, case management and consultation. Candidates should have familiarity with Evidence Based Practice and have excellent case management and therapy skills. Must be willing to work as part of an interdisciplinary team and follow documentation requirements in accordance with the Oregon Administrative Rules and department policies and procedures. Upgraded skills in medical management information systems to support clinical work would be desired. Travel between work sites may be necessary. Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related field is required. Two years post Master's Degree supervised experience in a similar position. Classification as a Mental Health Specialist 2, in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience, Education and Training Section above requires Oregon licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
