Linn County Mental health is recruiting for a therapist to work with children and families providing mental health services. The person filling this position will be skilled in assessment, individual, family and group therapy, case management and consultation. The successful candidate may work in a rural or urban community, collaborating with formal and informal community resources, providing clinic, community, and school based mental health services. Previous training in Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, andd family therapy is preferred. Must be willing to work as part of an interdisciplinary team and follow documentation requirements in accordance with the Oregon Administrative Rules and department policies and procedures. The primary work location for this position is Linn County based and locations are subject to change depending on program needs.Mental Health Department (Classification772)
SEIU Represented Full Time position (37.5 hours/week)
Master's Degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related field is required. Two years post Master's Degree supervised experience in a similar position. Classification as a Mental Health Specialist 2, in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience, Education and Training Section above requires Oregon licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Salary : $6,587 - $8,411
