- Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement community health nursing services in assigned areas or special programs.
- Make home, office, or telehealth visits to provide direct patient care within the scope of standing orders.
- Teach patients and families about basic concepts of prevention and promotion of mental and physical health.
- Develop community organization and planning for health services with community groups.
For the Nurse Family Partnership program, you will apply theories and principles integral to implementation, meet training requirements, and practice with fidelity to the NFP model elements.
Requirements:
- A valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oregon.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Home Visitor or completion of training for the Nurse Family Partnership program.
- Ability to maintain a motor vehicle operator's license and an acceptable driving record.
