Overview:
We are seeking a highly flexible individual with a passion for working with children to create memorable experiences. Hiring an After School & Summer Camp Counselor. Must be willing to float between community center programs if needed. Must be either able to or be willing to learn to drive a large Van.
Duties:
- Supervise and engage campers in various activities and games
- Cheerful positive every day
- Assist with planning & leading age-appropriate recreational programs
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all
- Greet children & staff with a smile & friendly demeanor
- Provide guidance and support to childrens in social interactions
- Assist in organizing and setting up projects, sports, camp events and outings
- Collaborate with co-workers to create a fun and inclusive environment
- Must have Valid Drivers license
Experience:
- Background in sports is a plus
- Ability to educate and inspire campers through engaging activities
- Strong communication skills and patience when interacting with children
