The Job Description
The main responsibility of this role is to identify and establish connections with customers who require transportation services. You will be expected to offer competitive rates while meeting the company's revenue and margin objectives, generate a high load count, and demonstrate a strong commitment to your own success. Managing your customer database and fostering expansion with the clientele will also be part of your duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Building strong partnerships with our customers (Shippers/Manufacturers/Warehouse)
- Negotiating shipment rates
- Researching and sourcing shippers to create long-term partnerships
- Identifying and understanding the needs of our customers
- Understanding the supply and demand of the market
- Identifying problems and finding solutions
- Growing and maintaining book of business
