Linq is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Inventory Manager to oversee inventory management processes for our oil field client in Williston, ND. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of inventory operations, implementing best practices in supply chain management, and optimizing stock levels to meet demand. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with various departments to support overall business objectives.
Duties
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts through regular audits and reconciliations.
- Develop and implement demand planning strategies to align inventory with sales forecasts.
- Oversee warehouse management practices, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and distribution of products.
- Collaborate with suppliers and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to negotiate contracts and optimize order fulfillment processes.
- Conduct research data collection to analyze trends in inventory turnover and identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize financial modeling techniques to assess the cost implications of inventory decisions.
- Monitor performance metrics related to inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and supply chain efficiency.
- Provide training and support to team members on best practices in inventory management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supply chain management or inventory control within a retail or manufacturing environment.
