Description LinQuest is looking for a journeyman-level software engineer to support the horizontal integration of multiple USAF open architecture standards. Our team leads the charge in USAF open architecture development, maturation and coordination. Responsibilities :
- Prototype and assess feasibility of horizontal integration efforts across open reference architectures
- Coordinate experiments, assure complimentary lines of effort, and produce final leadership-level outbriefs of experimentation results to inform horizontal integration decision making
- Break up scope of broad cross-cutting activities into prototype-based work to reduce risk and identify opportunities across open architectures and standards
- Act as the technical owner of the Air Dominance Government Reference Architecture (GRA) Starter Kit which includes : MBSE model, documentation, and reference software
- Perform technical leadership of an industry consortium as a CLIN lead Required Skills & Experience :
- BS in a technical field (Prefer computer science or electrical engineering)
- 3 years in software development
- Experience with C development in a Linux environment
- Experience with MBSE and DevSecOps toolflows and design activities
- Experience with modern commercial software development practices using tools like GitLab, Jira, Artifactory, and Nexus
- Experience with collaborative software development in either open source or professional team environments. Preferred Skills & Experience :
- 5 years in software development in a classified working environment
- Government acquisition program experience
- Familiarity with modern software development tools, languages, and practices
