Position Title: Associate Wealth Advisor
Summary
Associate Wealth Advisors are advancing in the Wealth Advisor career path. They are active members of the Wealth Advisory team, further developing their expertise and skills necessary to begin building their book
Client Responsibilities
Draft, deliver financial plans (subject to review), answer questions, follow-up, and ensure action items are completed
Implement financial plans and recommendations under guidance of Wealth Advisor, Wealth Management and Investment Committees
Develop and manage client communication and relationships
Begin to build book
Team Responsibilities
Support Wealth Advisors and team as necessary
Guide quality and timeliness of other Wealth Associates
Lead various projects for Wealth Advisory team
Support succession goals of Wealth Advisory team
Assist with research and creation of educational and training materials
Assist Wealth Advisory team with client onboarding and servicing
Firm Responsibilities
Understand and support the firm’s vision, mission, and strategy
Participate in various strategic firm projects and initiatives
Participate in the Wealth Advisor Residency Program
Degrees and Designations
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four‐year college or university, with a degree in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, or other business-related degree
CFP® certification
Experience Requirement
Completion of Senior Wealth Associate requirements
Typically, 3-6 years
Performance Measures
Mastery of technical, communication, and presentation skills
Expertise in wealth planning, technology, software, etc.
Years of experience and number of clients serviced

Professional appearance and demeanor
Proactive and strong work ethic
Teamwork, time management, and attention to detail
Strong writing and communication skills with clients and team members
Mastery of firm’s procedures and processes
Knowledge in general wealth planning and basic financial analysis
Technical knowledge in financial planning software and other tools
Skills Being Developed
Maintaining relationships and communicating with clients effectively
Further building knowledge base within wealth planning/advisory and niche areas
Building business development and relationship management skill set
Pursuit of additional designations encouraged

Education
Required- Bachelors or better
