Job Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Certified Firearms Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a teaching degree, a valid handgun instructor certification, and possess bilingual proficiency. The instructor will be responsible for educating students on firearm safety, legal regulations, and best practices for handgun use.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging firearms training courses following state and federal guidelines.
- Instruct students in safe handling, maintenance, and proper use of handguns.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical regulations governing firearm instruction.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and proficiency levels.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and certification completion.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions in a controlled and safe environment.
- Communicate effectively in both English and [Second Language] to provide bilingual instruction.
- Stay updated on firearm laws, training methodologies, and best safety practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
- Valid handgun instructor certification (NRA, DPS, or equivalent state certification).
