SharePoint Developer
LinTech Global Inc. is recruiting for a SharePoint Developer to support our contract at the USPSOIG in Arlington, Virginia.
Target Salary: $105K to $115K
Position Overview:
- Will serve as a SharePoint Developer for the USPS OIG Intranet project
- Works with the OCIO Development Team, Project Managers, and Stakeholders to develop SharePoint solutions to solve business problems
- Converts business requirements into technical solutions using the appropriate and applicable SharePoint. Works with team members and the system architect, accepting content in various forms, such as excel sheets, word documents, pdf etc. from end users
- Redesigning existing applications and developing new applications preferably using non-custom development SharePoint or, if requirements call for it, using 'light' development using SharePoint designer, PowerPlatform or basic .NET coding to fulfill the requirements
- Writes reusable web parts and features for an existing SharePoint 2016 and above infrastructure allowing end users to maintain their own content
- Assist with migration of the USPS OIG SharePoint instance from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online. Rewriting and re-engineering custom development and solutions as needed
- Helps with end user training and have the ability to interact with the customers to provide guidance with SharePoint related tasks
- Works with the System architect and other team members on application and content architecture and work distribution
- Sets up content architecture in a current site structure, with emphasis on end users being able to maintain their content themselves
- Responsible for providing support to end users in maintaining content on their various web pages and assisting site owners with site development and maintenance
- Communicates with end users, team lead and team members, on the details of the proposed design and progress on the work
Experience:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience working on web-based development projects involving Microsoft technologies.
- Ability to convert SharePoint sites from Classic to Modern
- Ability to configure and optimize Search in SharePoint Online
- Ability to manage site permissions for SharePoint Online
Requirements Qualifications:
- Excellent Customer Focus and Communication skills
- Experience working in SharePoint 2016, SharePoint Online, SharePoint Designer, Power Platform
- Extensive experience with workflow development
- Experience implementing and deploying custom SharePoint features to enhance out of box SharePoint functionality
- Ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions using the appropriate and applicable SharePoint web part(s) using a combination of workflows and Web Development technologies
- SharePoint development experience using Windows Workflow Foundation, and Excel services
- Demonstrated experience utilizing Visual Studio for implementing local and enterprise-wide enhancements and features
- 3 years of professional development experience using.Net technologies with C# and ASP.Net
- Experience with Nintex Workflows, PowerPlatform, and Sharegate Migration Tool
- Experience working in SharePoint OnPremise, SharePoint Online, SharePoint Designer, Power Platform
- Must be able to obtain an MBI Public Trust Security Clearance.
