Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of diagnostic imaging tasks using x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs.
- Adjust equipment settings for optimal exposure, voltage, and current in accordance with radiation safety protocols.
- Determine, prepare, and set up medical supplies, instruments, and equipment as required.
- Position patients for each anatomical view specified using immobilization and protective devices.
- Monitor accessory equipment and assist attending physicians with fluoroscopic examinations and special radiographic studies.
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
- AART Registered and CPR Current.
- Knowledgeable of local, state, federal, and AAAHC regulations.
- Independent decision-making skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
