Job Summary
The Receptionist provides professional and timely service to visitors and residents as well as administrative support to facility staff and residents.

Essential Job Specific Duties/Responsibilities
1. Provides administrative support to facility staff and residents.
a. Greets all who enter facility.
b. Assists with incoming calls.
c. Distributes mail, packages and prescriptions
d. Keep Resident Phone List updated.
e. Keep Resident Evacuation List updated.
f. Keep Resident Dinner Pick Up List updated daily.
g. Inputs maintenance work orders into the TELS system.
h. Supplies inventory and ordering.
i. Distribute TWALO and Tray Menus on Fridays.
j. Follow New Resident process via the New Resident Checklist.
k. Scan invoices to DSSI and place in invoices folder.
l. Records in-service attendance and performs wellness calls.
m. Schedules appointments and transportation for residents.
o. Assist in keeping Lounge clean and organized.
p. Swing and Weekend Receptionists provide transportation to and from dinner.
q. Assists other departments with various duties as time allows.
2. Satisfies all educational in-service requirements mandated by CHI Living Communities, the department, external accrediting, and regulatory agencies.
a. Attends all mandatory in-service programs.
b. Adheres to facility policies and procedures.
c. Completes yearly online education program by deadline.
d. Attends employee meetings on a regular basis.
In addition to the essential job specific duties listed above, the Receptionist shall be required to perform all duties (essential and non-essential) in a manner consistent with the mission and values (compassion, excellence, inclusion, integrity, collaboration) of CHI Living Communities and will be evaluated on such basis. Furthermore, every employee must abide by all campus, departmental, and safety policies, rules, and regulations.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
