Job Summary
The Clinical Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing the clinical operations of our facilities, ensuring high standards of patient care and effective implementation of treatment programs. This position requires a strong leader with expertise in behavioral health, particularly in working with individuals with developmental disabilities. The Clinical Director will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical services while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Duties
- Lead and supervise clinical staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective patient care.
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to enhance patient outcomes and promote skill development.
- Oversee patient care processes, ensuring that all services are evidence-based and aligned with best practices. Including traveling to both Locations ( Worcester and North Andover)
- Collect and analyze research data to inform clinical practices and improve service delivery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients with behavioral health challenges.
- Provide training and support for staff on best practices in patient assessment and care for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Oversees clinical services being provided in-home and community settings; responsible for ensuring quality and integrity of services.
- Conducts a monthly internal team meeting as well as a team meeting with the caregiver present
- Conducts training of behavioral therapists as needed
- Meet Monthly with the Executive Officer of Centers to review performance metrics, staffing needs, and other critical center operations.
- Provide performance evaluations and support professional development through feedback, training, and progressive discipline when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Holds a masters degree and BCBA certification or related license from the Board of Behavioral Sciences and current BCBA Certification with LABA licensure.
- At least 3 years experience in the field including in a center-based setting with a focus on children ages 4-16.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and staff.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities .
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends in behavioral health.
- Proven experience in managing and mentoring a clinical team (BCBAs, RBTs).
- Comfortable with standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
- Energetic and able to keep up with active children.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85.00 - $95.00 per hour
