Linx Community Services, seeking an Executive Director for the Wheeling ,New Martinsville, and Moundsville area. The Executive Director will supervise services and programming that is designed to promote advocacy for individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. General knowledge of WV IDD Waiver is preferred. The successful candidate (Executive Director) reports directly to the Vice Presidents and will collaborate with Residential Director, Nursing, and Behavioral Specialsts for coordinating services . This position is full time/salary 40 hours plus as needed. This position must have 5 years of experience, in the IDD/Waiver field and/or a related Bachelors degree. The ability to work in a fast paced environment . Candidate must have excellent organizational skills, and ability to to make decisions, based on policy and waiver requirements. PTO/Sick time accrual, mileage reimbursement and benefits are available.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage programs aimed at supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance service delivery and relationship management.
- Supervise staff and provide guidance in social work practices, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Manage budgets and administrative tasks to ensure efficient program operations.
- Cultivate partnerships with community organizations to improve service outreach and effectiveness.
- Other duties ass assigned.
