Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering & Procurement, you will collaborate with peers such as Electrical Engineer Specialists, Project Engineers, and Civil Project Engineers. As the Lead Primary Engineer at Linxon in Raleigh, North Carolina, you will leverage your technical expertise to lead the design and installation of Substation Layouts for projects ranging from 400kV to 11kV.
What will you do?
Technical Leadership :
- Lead and deliver primary and High Voltage (HV) design packages for various substation projects, including those related to Grid projects and wind farms.
- Develop substation layouts and detailed diagrams in compliance with established UK standards and processes, guiding and leading allocated Computer-Aided Design (CAD) resources locally and across different business units.
- Develop technical specifications and material schedules for HV primary equipment.
