POSITION SUMMARY:
We're seeking a talented Senior Software Architect to join our team. In this role, you will see the “big picture” and create architectural approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team. You'll have the opportunity to deliver new solutions and features while continuously improving our approach to architecture, UI/UX, API, microservices, and more.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications
- Analyze Product/System requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product. Use UML diagrams when necessary
- Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility. Provide recommendations to solve technical business problems and identify opportunities and risks.
- Ensure software solutions are architected and delivered using industry-leading best practices and technologies.
- Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
- Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, System Engineers, Designers, QA, and other engineers.
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers
- Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.
- Approve final product before launch
Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field with 7 years of experience
- Proven experience as a software architect
- A solid understanding of software architecture and design principles
- Experience in software development and coding in various languages (Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin, Swift, etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
- Understanding of software quality assurance principles
- High quality organizational and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
- Dedication to security and privacy.
