Join the Cut Line today and help spread fabric, operate our cutter to cut down the fabric that has been spread, and bundle the cut fabric.

Essential Functions:

  • Have knowledge of and understand all mechanical operations of cutter
  • Have knowledge and understand Victor Pilot software
  • Ability to read marker names
  • Ability to choose correct folder
  • Ability to enter correct marker and size
  • Ability to correctly separate and read job cards
  • Ability to correctly lay out each model of coat and pant
  • Ability to correctly bundle each piece in the required sequence and sticker them accordingly
  • Ability to correctly identify required fabric
  • Ability to correctly spread cuts in required priority
  • Ability to follow ISO work instructions

Education & Experience Qualifications:

  • Prefer High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to read and comprehend English language instructions
  • Willingness to learn industry standards that are applicable to the inspection process
  • Experience in decision-making as a job requirement
  • Experience in keying information into a database or demonstrate computer use skills
  • Ability to work within a multi-functional team.

Physical Requirements:

  • Light Carrying: Physically transporting items weighing less than 15 pounds from one location to another
  • Moderate Carrying: Items weighing 15 to 100 pounds (Team lift)
  • Grasping: Applying pressure to an object with fingers (including thumb) and palm
  • Light Lifting: Raising objects under 15 pounds from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from one position to another
  • Moderate Lifting: Objects 15 to 44 pounds
  • Repetitive Motion: Substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and /or fingers for sustained periods of time
  • Standing: 8 hours per day
  • Visual Requirements: Enough to read computer screen and job cards (examples: Able to see and read PC screens, detect color coding, read fine print, and/or normal type size print)

Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information
  • Ability to understand, remember, and communicate routine, factual information
  • Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology
  • Ability to apply common sense in performing job
  • Ability to make decisions which have moderate impact on immediate work
  • Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines
  • Ability to complete routine forms, use existing form letters and/or to orally communicate technical information
  • Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of communicating orally with others accurately, loudly and quickly
  • Ability to count accurately
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and to record, balance and check accuracy
  • Ability to read a ruler
