Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of residential HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues to identify the root cause of malfunctions and recommend effective solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and identify potential problems after they escalate.
- Install, repair, or replace components, such as compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, filters, and ductwork.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate work schedules, prioritize service calls, and efficiently complete assignments.
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their concerns, explaining repair options, and providing recommendations for system improvements.
- Accurately document service activities, including equipment status, repairs performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of two to three years of verifiable HVAC experience in a residential service and maintenance operation.
- Must hold Universal EPA certification, preferred NATE or equivalent HVAC certification.
- Knowledge of local and national HVAC codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Basic change order cost estimating experience.
- High school diploma/GED required. Associate degree preferred but not required
- Self-starter, reliable, flexibility with hours
- Strong client service skills
- Technical aptitude
- Bilingual a plus, not required
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test.
