Job Summary:
This position will work directly with finance team/stakeholders to design, configure, test, train, and support finance and accounting solutions. The position requires an in-depth understanding of accounting objectives and processes, as well as experience in Oracle Finance related modules. Prior experience in accounting or finance is required, and prior experience in a manufacturing environment is ideal.
Essential Functions:
- Proactively develops and maintains functional knowledge of LION business practices and acts as a functional Subject Matter Expert.
- Demonstrates Oracle Finance expertise, understands system capabilities and functionality, and understands data model and data relationships.
- Works on complex projects of large scope, often facilitating meetings and leading projects, identifying risks, communicating status, maintaining project documentation, and assessing potential impacts on the business.
- Develop innovative functional and/or technical solutions consistent with organization objectives to a wide range of business challenges.
- Maintains and supports Oracle, including troubleshooting and resolving problem tickets, designing, coding, testing, implementing enhancements, providing user training, creating reports, and preparing and providing documentation.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Agile delivery processes, product owner experience a plus
- Prefer 3 years of experience in Accounting and Financial Planning and Analysis
- Familiarity with best practices in data management and security within Oracle
- Prefer at least 3 years’ formal Business Analyst experience
