JOB SUMMARY – Site Leader
The Site Leader is responsible for managing the daily operations and sales team of the Seattle TotalCare facility that cleans PPE gear for Firefighters and First Responders. You will provide contractual maintenance service, item tracking, and reporting to fire departments. You will be responsible for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, efficient service delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage the daily operations and sales of the facility with a focus on quality and customer service.
- Ensure operational compliance with established procedures and applicable NFPA standards.
- Efficiently maintain pickup and delivery schedule.
- Hire, train and manage the onsite staff.
- Manage the financials and assist with sales planning for the facility.
- Ensure computer systems and facility equipment remain operational.
- Resolve customer problems and provide customer service to all fire departments when needed.
- Function as the local safety leader to include: ensuring health and safety regulations are observed, provide safety training to employees, safety audits and conducting safety meetings.
- Monitor and evaluate the workflow to identify more efficient methods of operation.
- Maintain and update procedure documents.
- Other duties as needed.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Associate Degree in Business or a related field is preferred but will accept relative industry experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience within a computerized warehouse, industrial laundry and/or product maintenance environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP considered a huge asset.
- Experience managing sales representatives a bonus.
- Effective communicator, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment and to meet all deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to work well with a team.
- Self-motivated and organized.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- Highly flexible and able to react constructively and with a positive attitude to multiple demands, shifting priorities, change and unexpected events.
- Hearing and vision required to be within normal ranges with or without correction
- May be required at times to perform light lifting and carrying (30 lbs) and up to 8 hours a day on standing/walking/ driving.
- Required to operate traditional office equipment including computers, copiers, telephones.
