Certified Personal Trainer (Independent Contractor)
Location: Lionheart Fitness – Italian Village, Columbus, OH

You must have your own clientele.
Compensation: Commission-based (60% for 1-24 training hours, 65% for 25 training hours per week)
Lionheart Fitness is looking for a certified personal trainer who is driven, social, and self-motivated to build their own clientele in our private training studio. This is an independent contractor position, meaning you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, grow your business, and thrive in a supportive, high-energy gym environment.
What We’re Looking For:
Certified personal trainer (NASM, ACE, ISSA, or equivalent)
Strong sales and social skills—you need to be comfortable networking, marketing yourself, and converting leads into loyal clients
A go-getter attitude with the ability to take initiative and build a personal training business within our gym
Experience in personal training and client programming
Professionalism, reliability, and a passion for fitness
Responsibilities: Conduct fitness assessments to evaluate clients’ current fitness levels and identify areas for improvement. Develop customized workout plans tailored to individual client needs, preferences, and goals. Provide one-on-one and small group training sessions, ensuring proper exercise techniques and safety protocols are followed. Monitor client progress and adjust training programs as necessary to ensure continued improvement. Educate clients on the principles of nutrition, exercise physiology, and overall wellness. Collaborate with other trainers and staff members to create a supportive community within the gym. Maintain a clean and organized training area, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition
