Lionheart Life Center is seeking a passionate and results-driven Non-Profit Development Officer to advance our mission of empowering individuals with autism and other neurodevelopmental challenges. Through a comprehensive range of educational, therapeutic, and vocational services, we strive to maximize each individual’s potential for independence.
As Development Officer, you will play a vital role in generating the resources necessary for Lionheart to continue providing life-changing programs, including The Lionheart School, Lionheart WORKS, and our Summer Camp. You will lead strategic fundraising efforts, cultivate donor relationships, and secure grant funding to support our programs. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will be instrumental in driving sustainable growth and deepening community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:✅ Lead Fundraising Strategy & Execution – Expand on existing campaigns and develop new efforts to meet and exceed fundraising goals, securing 40% or more of Lionheart’s annual budget.
✅ Manage a Donor Portfolio – Cultivate and steward relationships with donors and prospects in the $1,000 - $15,000 giving range, increasing annual contributions by 5% through engagement and outreach efforts.
✅ Strengthen Leadership Giving & Community Engagement – Build partnerships with local leaders and civic organizations to enhance Lionheart’s visibility and donor support.
✅ Grant Discovery, Writing & Management – Identify, secure, and oversee grant funding opportunities. Develop compelling, mission-aligned proposals that effectively communicate Lionheart’s impact and funding priorities.
✅ Coordinate Community & Civic Engagement – Foster meaningful relationships within the community, creating opportunities for advocacy, volunteerism, and philanthropic support.

Salary : $60,000 - $90,000
