Fulfillment Associate – Data Entry & Follow-Up
Location : Hybrid Remote | Frankfort, IL 60423
Salary : 40,000−40,000−50,000 per year | Full-Time (40 hours / week)
Schedule : 8-hour Day shift
Job Summary :
The Fulfillment Associate will focus on data entry, order tracking, and follow-up tasks to ensure accurate and timely processing of customer orders. This role is primarily administrative and involves managing order details, documentation, and inventory records. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Order Processing & Documentation :
Accurately input and update customer orders, invoices, and shipping records into company systems.
Verify order details against packing lists and invoices to ensure correctness.
Prepare and manage Bills of Lading (BOL) and other shipment documentation.
Assist with processing returns and updating inventory records as needed.
Inventory & Data Management :
Maintain accurate inventory records through proper tracking and data entry.
Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits by reviewing and updating system data.
Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages in inventory.
Administrative & Software Management :
Utilize WMS & QuickBooks (preferred) for invoicing, order tracking, and record-keeping.
Ensure all necessary documentation is properly filed and accessible.
Communicate with internal teams and external partners to resolve order or shipment issues.
Follow-Up & Customer Support :
Track orders and shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Follow up with customers, vendors, or shipping carriers to resolve any issues or delays.
Provide updates to internal teams regarding order status and inventory levels.

Qualifications & Skills :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in data entry, order processing, or administrative roles preferred.
Ability to read and interpret order sheets, invoices, and labels.
Familiarity with QuickBooks (preferred) for order processing and tracking.
Strong computer skills for order tracking and inventory management systems.
Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
Work Environment :
Hybrid remote role with occasional in-office work as needed.
Fast-paced environment requiring quick decision-making and adaptability.
May require overtime or occasional weekend shifts depending on business needs.
