Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Management:
- Lead and manage the dining services team, including chefs, cooks, servers, and support staff.
- Develop training programs for new and existing staff to ensure high service standards.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment focused on efficiency and excellence.
- Schedule staff and manage labor costs effectively.
- Food Quality & Safety:
- Ensure food preparation and service meet health and safety standards, including compliance with food safety regulations.
- Oversee food quality, presentation, and consistency, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain proper sanitation and cleanliness standards within the kitchen and dining areas.
- Menu Planning & Nutritional Management:
- Develop and update menus, ensuring a diverse range of healthy and appealing options.

- Work closely with other departments to provide a positive dining experience for all patrons.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local health and safety regulations related to food service.

- Regularly assess dining operations for efficiency and effectiveness, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Technology & Systems:
- Utilize technology to streamline operations, including ordering systems, inventory management, and payroll.

- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food service management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, menu planning, and inventory control.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Budgeting, financial management, and cost-control experience.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
- Certification in food safety or a related field.
- Experience in managing dining services in Senior Living environments, large institutions, hospitals environments.
- Proficiency with food service management software.
- Knowledge of Kosher Dietary Laws
