Job Description

In this role, you will be preparing meals and following established recipes. This position cooks, cleans, assists other cooks and staff and delivers food in a fast-paced restaurant-style environment. This is a full-time position – works every other weekend.

• Completes a variety of food preparation tasks
• Sets up and stocks cookline with food, supplies and utensils prior to service
• Follows established portion sizes
• Follows POS system production screens
• Maintains clean as you go policy
• Executes cleaning assignments following department procedures
• Effectively communicate with front of house staff
• Must maintain and obey the dietary laws for maintaining a kosher environment in our community.
  
  

The Ideal Candidate Will Meet The Following Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in a food or healthcare setting
• ServSafe Certification (preferred)
  
  

Job Title: Entry-Level Line Cook

Location: Lions Gate

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our kitchen team as an Entry-Level Line Cook. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items according to recipes and standards
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some experience in a kitchen environment is preferred
• Basic understanding of cooking techniques and food preparation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
