Job Title: Prep Cook (Entry-Level)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team as an entry-level Prep Cook. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and have a strong desire to learn and grow in the culinary industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces and dressings
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food preparation
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of food and equipment
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after service
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a safe and clean kitchen environment
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient food preparation and service
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, but not required
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
