Job Description
Job Duties:
- Answers telephone calls in a timely fashion and directs calls to appropriate personnel or overhead pages when necessary.
- Orders supplies and maintains meeting books.
- Takes messages for staff when necessary and places in mailbox or voicemail.
- Directs and provides assistance to visitors as needed and ensures all visitors sign-in.
- Monitors safety measures in lobby to ensure residents do not exit from the front lobby unless authorized.
- Monitors security camera for employee entrance.
- Coordinates mail and distributes to staff and residents.
- Maintains petty cash control for Administration.
- Distributes lunch tickets to employees, resident family members.
- Complies with Lions Gate Compliance Program.
- Responds to emergency situations using established protocol.
Assumes all other responsibilities as designated by supervisor.
Multiple shifts available.-
Hours for available shifts:
- 8am -2pm Sat and Sun
- 2pm- 8pm Sat and Sun
Mon - Fri 4:30pm-10pm

Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a receptionist role.
- Ability to interact well with the public.
- Good phone skills and etiquette.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Professional Requirements
- Adheres to dress code, appearance is neat and clean.
- Completes mandatory annual education requirements (Corporate Compliance, HIPAA, In-service, etc.).
- Maintains and ensures compliance with current regulatory requirements, including all state and federal regulations, including OSHA safety protocol and standards.
- Maintains and ensures resident confidentiality at all times.
- Reports to work on time and as scheduled.
- Wears identification while on duty.
- Attends departmental in-services as required.
- Works at maintaining a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with departments and staff.
- Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner.
- Resolves personnel concerns at the departmental level, utilizing the grievance process as required.
- Ensures compliance with policies and procedures regarding department operations, privacy, fire, safety and infection control.
- Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices.
- Communicates the philosophy of the Home.
- Keeps work area neat, clean and orderly.
