The Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for overseeing and managing the rehabilitation services department in a healthcare or long-term care facility. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, manage, and supervise a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and therapy assistants.
- Oversee hiring, training, and evaluating rehabilitation staff to ensure high standards of clinical care.
- Schedule and manage staffing to meet patient needs and maintain a balanced workload for the rehabilitation team.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, professional development, and patient-centered care.

Patient Care and Clinical Oversight:
- Oversee the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients based on their medical diagnoses, functional needs, and therapy goals.
- Ensure that therapy services meet the specific needs of patients, including those with physical, cognitive, or speech impairments.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and ensure the highest standard of rehabilitative care is provided.

- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to maintain necessary therapy equipment and supplies.

Qualifications
- Education: Associate's degree is required.
- Licensure: Must hold an active license for Physical Therapy, Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy, Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Speech Therapy.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation therapy, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of rehabilitation practices and standards in healthcare settings.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
