What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compliance Labeling Analyst position at LIPARI FOODS OPERATING COMPANY, LLC?
Responsibilities: · Develop and revise film, labels, packaging, etc. digitally and on physical proofs for compliance including FDA/USDA regulations, formatting errors, and grammar · Act as a liaison between Lipari, marketing, QA and R&D for packaging (e.g. films and labels) revisions, and approvals · Approve and sign off on revisions to any JLM packaging · Responsible for upholding food safety standards · Generate and manage templates for printing on a variety of software including, but not limited to; o Clarisoft o Label Matrix o Label Star o Promark · Provide complete finished good specifications upon request · Submit new bulk and finished good items to Kosher Schedule based on supplier certifications · Submit new bulk and finished good items to Halal Schedule based on supplier certifications · Add new organic finished goods and bulk items to organic certification organization (ECOCERT) · Oversee the Fresh Foods and Confections Access databases · Work closely with QA to implements any changes necessary to Access database · Train QA and Production employees to properly utilize all applicable label software, and train members of QA how to make changes to Access databases as needed · Work with production team members to implement new Private Labels and label art changes based on category manager requests to record keeping / organization of these. · Assist IT and maintenance with printer malfunctions where applicable · Communicate with vendors and printer technicians to effectively trouble shoot software and printer issues as needed · Assist with new product development as needed in relation to labeling. · Follow all facility GMP’s, and have a commitment to food safety
Knowledge & Experience: · Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize. · Strong verbal and written abilities. · Ability to work effectively under pressure · Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to make independent decisions · Able to lift 25 pounds · Multi-task oriented · Ability to work in varying temperature extremes (hot/cold) and follow cGMPs. · Flexible - Work varying shifts as needed. · Ability to work effectively under pressure.
