Job Summary: JLM Manufacturing is seeking Production Associates to join our Production team. We’re looking for dedicated individuals who always show up for work on time and who thrive in a team-oriented environment. Successful candidates will have prior experience in the Production field. We are looking to fill these jobs immediately, so it’s important for new hires to hit the ground running. Knowledge of principles, GMP's, SOP's & SSOP's are helpful.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Manufacture / Repackage products on production line while reaching production quota
- Demonstrates working knowledge of basic operation of line equipment
- Continuously check product for specifications as items are running.
- Getting final counts for finished product and sign off on pallet sheets.
- Operate production equipment
- Inform floor lead, line lead or manager of any equipment issues to ensure prompt response to the problem.
- Promote Cleanliness in production area and throughout the facility
- Ensure GMP guidelines are being followed.
- Maintain work areas and equipment
- Responsible for upholding food safety standards
- Effectively communicating quality any food safety concerns on a daily basis.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the line lead, floor lead, supervisor or management.
Working Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is working in a production room that has a temperature of 35 to 75 degrees; there are moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Some Manufacturing experience required
Technical Skills: Basic computer skills
Knowledge: Knowledge of FDA and USDA requirements helpful
Other: Reliable transportation
Physical Requirements
Able to bend, squat, stand for up to 8 hours a day, lift up to 25 pounds
