Learning & Development Program Manager - Sales

Job Summary: Lipari Foods, a leading regional wholesale distributor, is seeking a seasoned L&D Program Manager to be a driving force to support our Sales team development. In this role, you'll be leading our sales training initiatives, helping our team reach new heights. You'll design, develop, deliver, and manage comprehensive sales learning programs that enhance the capabilities, performance and productivity of our sales teams. This role plays a critical part in enabling consistent onboarding, ongoing learning, and skills development to align with the company’s sales strategy and revenue goals.  We're looking for someone who can dive into the details and think outside the box, all while embracing systematic thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, role-specific training content and learning journeys for new hires and tenured sales professionals.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Category Management, and HR teams to ensure training aligns with go-to-market strategies and organizational priorities.
• Identify and develop effective solutions to specific challenges. Break down complex topics and make them easy to understand.
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices across digital, in-person and blended learning formats.
• Manage end-to-end program execution, including scheduling, communications, facilitator training, and performance tracking
• Deliver engaging training sessions when needed (virtual or live)
• Partner with frontline leaders to reinforce training and integrate learning into the sales workflow
• Own and continuously improve the new hire onboarding program to accelerate ramp time and drive early productivity; Track progress and effectiveness of onboarding cohorts
• Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, performance data, and business impact
• Use data and insights to iterate and improve program content and delivery
• Maintain a program calendar, track milestones, and manage multiple concurrent training initiatives
• Work with vendors or external partners when needed to supplement internal resources
• Support the learning platform (LMS) to manage content, reporting, and learner engagement
• Embrace a growth mindset and lifelong learning as you continuously seek ways to improve and innovate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources development, adult learning, education, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in sales training, sales enablement, or learning & development.
• Proven track record of designing and managing impactful training programs for sales teams
• Strong understanding of sales methodologies, processes, and performance drivers; experience with sales transformation & change management a plus
• Expertise in Articulate 360, Canva Pro, and other content creation tools. Proficient with e-learning platforms, experience in Axonify a plus.
• Strong knowledge of learning theories and instructional design.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
