Lipari Foods, a leading distributor in the food industry, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Pricing Manager for our Revenue Management department.  This newly created role will work very closely with our commercial organization to oversee pricing strategies, optimize revenue streams, and drive commercial success across our diverse portfolio.  Reporting to the SVP of Revenue Management, this position will lead a team of deal desk professionals, leveraging advanced analytical tools and software to ensure competitive pricing and profitability.  This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, a deep understanding of pricing dynamics, and a proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and implement pricing strategies that maximize revenue while maintaining market competitiveness.
  • Analyze sales data, customer purchasing patterns, and competitive pricing to identify revenue growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, category management, and finance teams to align revenue strategies with business objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of promotions, adjusting strategies based on performance insights.
  • Utilize data analytics and predictive modeling to forecast revenue trends and recommend actionable strategies.
  • Optimize trade spend and promotional investments to drive profitability.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting dashboards to measure success.
  • Ensure compliance with pricing policies and financial targets.
  • Develop and lead a team of deal desk professionals to assist the sales team in quick decisions that align with pricing strategies, provide winning customer solutions and enable success in a competitive environment

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-7 years in revenue management, pricing, or a related field, with at least 2-3 years managing a team of pricing analysts and/or deal desk professionals
  • Proven experience with revenue management software providers such as Pros, Zilliant, or similar platforms, including implementation and optimization
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field is preferred
  • Background in food distribution or industrial distribution is a plus

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau), experience with revenue management software, and the ability to translate data into commercial strategies
  • Exceptional commercial thinking, with a track records of balancing profitability and market competitiveness
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with experiencing driving performance and professional development
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
