Summary:
Verifies quantity, labeling, and addressing of produce coming off packing line ready for shipment by performing the following duties.

- Must be able to work 6am - 4pm with a flexible schedule and long hours as needed.
- Must be able to operate a computer using standard office software.
- Must be able to work in our Fresh Cuts room when needed (38 degrees room)
- Must be able to speak English and Spanish
Skills and Experiences:
- Ability to follow oral and written directions in English
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Must possess the ability sufficient to solve practical problems for which many times previous examples may not exist.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to reach, lift, move 50 pounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Print pallet tags and tag produce.
- Enter correct line numbers for packed produce
- Compare items packed with customer’s order and other identifying data.
- Compile pack out information for shipping department and ensure all orders printed have been packed and tagged and if not, notify Production Supervisor.
- Ensures all regulations are followed and enforced as outlined in the food safety program (H.A.C.C.P.).
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
The employee is required to work in a packinghouse setting which includes but is not limited to packing, grading, cooling and office areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but the employee may be exposed to loud industrial equipment, machinery, moving mechanical parts, and vibration when perform the various job responsibilities.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
