Full-time Regional Marine Aftermarket field sales position responsible for developing new accounts while growing and servicing existing accounts. These accounts include but are not limited to Distributors, Service Centers, Mobile Repair Customers, Specialty Retailer Stores, as well as Local Retail Dealership locations in the territory. You will bring Lippert products and business solutions to the Marine Aftermarket channel representing all Lippert marine brands (Taylor Made, Lewmar, Sureshade).
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
- Functional knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft office programs
- Develop product plans that drive share and/or revenue growth.
- Support channel partners with sales material, training, and product knowledge.
- Develop marketplace solutions to displace competitive products.
- Be "the face" of Aftermarket Marine at the regional customers and trade shows.
- Provide competitive pricing based on market research, product costs and anticipated demand.
- Organizational skills
- Ability to take initiative on projects independently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily working indoors, office environment.
- Traveling to visit customers within the territory.
- May sit for several hours at a time.
- Prolonged exposure to computer screens.

Qualifications:
- Work Experience: 5 years of sales in Marine industries, merchandising experience or knowledge a plus.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Organization Skills: Excellent organizational, ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed.
- Cross-functional Skills: Ability to communicate and collaborate across all functional areas.
- Communication Skills: Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to communicate and collaborate with the team; professional & pleasant demeanor; demonstrated commitment to building strong business relationships with customer; ability to effectively communicate with senior leaders internally and with customers externally

Essential Functions:
- While working independently you will identify, learn and comprehend your customers operations.
- Utilize your expertise of Lippert parts, accessories, and customer service benefits to devise customer solutions to meet their present and future needs.
- You will combine sales and prospecting skills with your Lippert product knowledge and recommend profitable solutions that expand our business collectively.
- Lead the Lippert field efforts with new product launches and service/benefit introductions.
- Work with our existing distributor partners and other industry partners to grow the Lippert presence and achieve sales plan and company goals.
- Create/ maintain new relationships with outside markets to contribute to sales profits.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time salary position, and hours/days of work are decided by production schedules and your reporting manager.
Travel:
Travel will be 80% of the role.
