What You Will Get
Primary responsibility is the management of the engineering team, distribution of ECNs, distribution of duties, and management of active projects and new projects. Other responsibilities will be the design and testing of new, current, and old HVAC components. This role will require candidates to be able to work well in a team-based environment, providing engineering knowledge and support in the electrical, mechanical and HVAC disciplines.

This position requires Personal Protective Equipment. Protective Equipment supplied by the company includes: Work Gloves, Safety Glasses and Ear Plugs. Employees may be required to provide additional Protective Equipment (Safety Shoes, etc.).
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position and is salaried exempt so your hours and workdays will vary depending on workloads. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

- Creating engineering documents including detail drawings, assembly drawings, & BOMs.
- Final approval of engineering drawings, documents, and ECNs.
- Employee management

- Communication skills
- Working knowledge of manufacturing & assembly processes.
- Understanding general principles of refrigeration and HVAC.
- Creating models using 3D SolidWorks.
- Creating schematics using 2D SolidWorks.
- Performing components and system testing and troubleshooting.
- Selecting components to meet applicable specifications/standards.
- Revise/improve current products via the ECN process.
- Must be able to work as a part of a team to achieve the company’s overall goals;
- Ability to work with and apply mathematical concepts.
- Responsible for all training within the department.
- Delegate the workload between team members.
- Act as a leader of group, but also perform similar work

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft 365
- Solid Works
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.
- Proven leadership experience in a similar industry required.
- Public speaking ability is preferred.
- Strong organization and time management skills preferred.
