Summary / Objective : This position is primarily responsible for managing and processing raw material components associated with liquid vinyl and polyethylene powders to support all production on rotational molding machines in the creation of varied marine products. Essential Functions : The individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required. Monitor and manage inventory of raw vinyl and material components to prevent shortages and ensure continuous supply to production. Arrange and receive materials from truck deliveries frequently. Collaborate with production leaders to accurately anticipate material requirements for daily production schedules. Supply proper materials to each machine to meet production needs. Perform precise calculations to determine the correct percentages of pigments and other additives in the creation of liquid vinyl or polyethylene powder. Respond swiftly to changing production requirements and supply necessary materials to support operations. Identify and resolve material issues to minimize production disruptions and maintain quality. Maintain a clean and safe environment by frequently monitoring material storage and transport systems. Working Conditions : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites is loud and hearing protection and other personal protective equipment is required. Qualifications : High school degree or GED (not necessary). Forklift license (training is offered). Strong math and communication skills Competencies Strong basic math skills to monitor raw vinyl levels and anticipate material needs for the current production schedule. Ability to perform specific calculations based on weights to determine the percentage of pigment and other additives. Strong housekeeping skills to maintain a clean and safe work environment with high attention to detail. Physical ability to frequently up to and greater than 50 pounds, moving 100-150 50lb. bags daily. Strong communication and priority management to assist leadership and team members with changing production demands. Self-sufficiency and strong initiative to adapt to shifting priorities quickly and positively. Strong attendance and cooperation in coordinating time off events. High attention to detail in material management. Fork truck operation skills or the ability to become fork truck certified. Adherence to safety rules and policies to maintain and promote the safety of systems and equipment. Highly motivated, organized, and self-starting to execute work from the daily schedule. Honesty, integrity, and candor to build trust and support the team's passion for winning; must be reliable and prompt. Commitment to maintaining a positive attitude and caring about people. Strong dependability Supervisory Responsibility : This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring. Physical Demands : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires 98% standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders. The employee will be regularly required to lift and / or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Position Type / Expected Hours of Work : This is a full-time role. Expected hours of operation are 40-50 hours per week. Standard schedule of Monday - Thursday : 6am-4pm, with frequent regularly scheduled overtime on Friday from 6am-2pm or 6am-4pm as necessary to meet production demands on Fridays. The starting wage for this position is $18 / hr Travel : No travel is required for this position. Preferred Education and Experience : 1-3 years Manufacturing / industry experience. Machine Operator experience, and / or experience or knowledge of Rotational Molding processes Work Authorization / Security Clearance : Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
