What are the responsibilities and job description for the Open Lab Coordinator, School of Nursing position at Lipscomb University?
The purpose of the Open Lab is to provide a time for students to be able to come and practice their skills. The Open Lab coordinator is expected to provide coverage and instruction for students attending the open lab.
Typical Duties:
- Plan a skill to review each week, which includes an instructional sheet and supplemental information.
- Ensure coverage in the lab during open hours.
- Accommodate student requests for learning.
- Set up the skill at the beginning of each week.
- Keep statistics on the utilization data for the lab.
The successful candidate must have skills in critical thinking, problem solving judgment and organization; demonstrate creative leadership practices; and possess excellent management skills with a collaborative attitude.
Candidate must have a registered nursing license in Tennessee.
