Expectations:
- Participate in all training activities to gain knowledge of all products and their benefits to growers when applied to their fields.
- Stay current on new company and industry products and trends and how they will benefit your customer base and impact your location.
- Undertake the necessary Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) training to pass the CCA test within two years and obtain certification at the culmination of the required work experience.
- Develop a comprehensive prospect and current customer list that includes the grower’s needs and wants, with a schedule for completing an adequate number of calls.
Meet with current and prospective customers to discuss the opportunities that Liqui-Grow can provide them.
- Assist the farmer by applying his purchased fertilizer and pesticides promptly and accurately.
- Ensure that the application equipment has the necessary safety equipment and is constantly utilized.
- Collect the necessary information on customers’ fields to develop the proper fertilizer and herbicide/pesticide application recommendations.
- Keep the manager and team fully informed of all operations.
- Work with your location manager to obtain support in meeting your individual sales goals.
- Assist in the collection of all customer account information.
- Conduct yourself professionally. Work to create and maintain a positive image for Liqui-Grow and yourself in the community.
Requirements
- Must pass a pre-drug test
- Must have a good driving record
- Must have or obtain a CDL – Twin State, Inc. will facilitate
- Application/ag equipment experience is ideal but required
