Brooklyn tech firm has an exciting opportunity for a computer hardware technician. We offer competitive pay, excellent benefits, and room for growth! In this role, the computer technician is responsible for testing and troubleshooting laptops, PCs, servers, AIOs.
Typical responsibilities include :
Test and report any issues with equipment via testing software.
Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs.
Keep track of locations of tested equipment.
Perform reset remote mgmt. cards (iDRAC, iLOM) and BIOS on the relevant tested units.
Collaborate with other employees to research and resolve problems.
Collaborate with programmers to explain errors and / or recommend modifications to computer programs.
Provide help with department projects and goals.
Maintains knowledge of technological innovations and trends.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Useful skills :
Solid working knowledge of PC hardware architecture
Experience and knowledge of basic troubleshooting
Highly detail oriented and the ability to work with a sense of urgency.
Proficient in MS Excel and Google Sheet
Salary : 40-45K to start
