We’re looking for someone who loves every aspect of sales – from hunting for opportunities from regional chains to navigating very large, multi-state organisations to nurturing and advancing a sales prospect with the WIN!, of closing the deal. We are looking for the right person who loves the Convenience Store industry and enjoys the success of adding value to the best and innovative chains throughout the US.


Job Description:

We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven National Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Lead Generation: Identifying and prospecting potential clients within the convenience retail and foodservice retail sectors who could benefit from our loyalty and subscription program solutions. This will involve conducting market research, leveraging industry contacts, attending trade shows, and efficient use of Hubspot which is the tool we use.
  2. Lead Nurturing: Engaging with leads through various channels (phone, email, social media, events, conferences, shows) to build relationships, understand their business needs, and showcase the value of Liquid Barcodes' solutions. Your role will be to guide leads through the sales funnel and getting to sales pitch meetings.
  3. Opportunity Conversion: Working closely with the sales team and stakeholders, you will nurture opportunities to convert them into signed contracts. This will involve developing tailored proposals, negotiating terms, and presenting compelling business cases that demonstrate the ROI of our solutions.
  4. Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with prospects, understanding their evolving needs, and identifying opportunities for where we fit in with our solutions. 


Requirements:

  • Min. 10 years sales experience, preferably selling technology. Verifiable and consistently over quota achievement
  • Min. Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in lead generation and lead nurturing.
  • Knowledge of the convenience retail and foodservice retail sectors is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively present information to prospects.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving industry and market landscape.
  • Proficiency and experience in Hubspot is desirable, not a must. 
  • Willing to travel as required, likely with material time on the road for sales meetings and industry events.

  • Attractive Base Salary with an extremely generous commission structure (100% of base salary on OTE with no upper cap)
