Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time | 1st or 2nd Shift | Overtime available | Flexibility required

About the Role
We’re looking for a Lead Wastewater Plant Operator to join our Kenner, LA team. This is a long-term role with growth potential, perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, operating machinery, and leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain plant equipment, including DAFs, filter presses, forklifts, and skid steers.
- Monitor tank levels to ensure proper wastewater processing and efficiency.
- Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on plant machinery.
- Follow all safety and compliance protocols, including proper use of protective equipment.
- Lead and support the plant team, assisting the Plant Manager with daily operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
What We’re Looking For
- Three (3) years of plant operation experience (preferred) OR 3 years of mechanical experience with transferable skills.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, including equipment repairs, tool usage, and machinery operation.
- Ability to work in varied environments, including exposure to strong odors, hot/cold temperatures, and occasional splashes.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a team-oriented mindset.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to cross-train in other roles.
