Training Period: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, for two months

Job Description:
Liquid Environmental Solutions is seeking a dedicated Wastewater Plant Operator to join our Fayetteville, NC location. As a Wastewater Plant Operator, you will play a crucial role in the treatment of wastewater, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining the efficient operation of our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Equipment: Operate forklifts and skid steers to transport materials and assist in various tasks around the facility.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Wastewater Treatment: Execute treatment processes to effectively treat wastewater and maintain water quality standards.
- Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the plant, including work areas and equipment storage areas.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all safety regulations and procedures are strictly followed to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to the wastewater treatment process, including input and output volumes, chemical usage, and equipment maintenance logs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in wastewater treatment or a related field is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Forklift and Skid Steer Operation: Experience operating forklifts and/or skid steers is beneficial.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment.
- Safety Conscious: Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Record Keeping Skills: Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation related to plant operations.
- Physical Stamina: Capable of performing tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
