JOB BRIEF:
Liquid Lifestyles is currently accepting applications for swim coaches seeking a year-round professional position in aquatics for their newest location in Reminderville. Liquid Lifestyles is one of the most recognized and respected in Cleveland. Our coaching staff is comprised of the very BEST swim educators in the business, each chosen for their unique combination of personality, experience, education and most importantly, their outstanding character! We are expanding our team of instructors who demonstrate exceptional communication skills, are passionate about continuing education and enthusiastic about all things swimming. We provide extensive training, support and professional development so come ready to learn as well as teach.
WHAT DOES A LIQUID LIFESTYLES SWIM COACH DO?
A Liquid Lifestyle coach provides in-water instruction in both private lesson and small-group class formats for learn-to-swim children (ages 6 mos. & up), competitive age-group swimmers, beginner adults, and triathletes. Positions are year round.
- Part-time position with fully-customizable hours (reliability and punctuality are mandatory) (afternoon/evenings and weekends are required)
- Consistent Schedule (flexible by semester or season) (minimum of two 4-hour shifts per week)
- Paid Training
- Starting pay is $18 per hour, commensurate with education and experience

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide clients with leading-edge instruction using Liquid Lifestyles proven curriculum.
- Deliver personalized improvement plans and clearly defined performance expectations to clients.
- Initiate, develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and their families.
- Demonstrate motivational, energetic and professional delivery of instruction via verbal communication and demonstration.
- Embody the Liquid Lifestyles values of excellence and professionalism.
REQUIREMENTS
- Consistency, reliability and punctuality.
- Associate's or Bachelors degree (or actively pursuing degree).
- Coursework or experience in Early Childhood Education, Communications, Sports Management, Physical Therapy or Exercise Science is a plus.
- Swim experience and/or coaching experience a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
