Position Summary:
Senior Designer
The senior designer is a vital function for Messenger Sports VISION DESIGN BUILD as this creative and experienced person leads design initiatives across various projects. The senior designer is passionate about creating high-quality materials and has a strong portfolio showcasing design expertise, excellent project management skills, and the ability to provide creative direction to a team.
This position requires the following:
Senior Designer
· Bachelor’s degree in related field
· 5 years of experience in related field
· Knowledge of functional analysis and space planning principles
· Problem solving skills and the ability to connect to your team for solutions/remedies
· Acknowledgement and respect of project deadlines
· Proactive communication skills
· Ability to apply “lessons learned” to future design solutions
· Ability to create “the why” for your projects team
· Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within field
· Knowledge of interior code requirements
· Ability to interpret specifications and layouts
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Strong people management and leadership skills
· Ability to lead multiple projects and set the design direction of projects
· Fluency in current technology
· Presentation software knowledge a plus (photoshop/other)
· Working to attain professional certification
· Strong connection to the local design community
· Firm representation/attendance at industry events within the local or national project community
· Strong emotional EQ
This position is responsible for the following:
Senior Designer
· Supporting the lead designer and project managers
· Executing tasks as required by the team which may include client interface, research, design, presentation, construction documents, finish selection, construction site visits, and other tasks
· Tracking schedule, contract, and deliverables as required by the team
· At all times, delivering products and services with a great attitude and high professional standards.
· Creating a professional network either personally or through social media channels

Liquid Sportsgroup VISION DESIGN BUILD offers comprehensive medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, and 401(k) plan. Liquid Sportsgroup VISION DESIGN BUILD is pleased to provide 100% coverage for employee medical, dental and vision plans. If you choose to add additional dependents this will be at a cost to you and deducted from your paycheck each pay period (pre-tax). In addition to offering the 401(k) plan Liquid Sportsgroup VISION DESIGN BUILD offers and Employee Ownership Plan.
Time-Off Benefits
You will accrue vacation at a rate of 1.54 hours for each pay period, (40 hours per year, or 1 week) for the first 4 years. After 4 years of employment, you will accrue vacation at a rate of 3.08 hours for each pay period, (80 hours per year, or 2 weeks). In addition to your vacation accrual, you will receive twelve (12) paid holidays and you will receive forty (40) hours sick leave per year immediately upon hire.
At Liquid Sportsgroup VISION DESIGN BUILD we offer two regular work schedules: 8 hours/5 days per week or a 9 hours Monday thru Thursday and a 4 hour Friday. Within these hours we offer a hybrid work model of in office and remote working.

$85,000 - $100,000 salary
