What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Manager position at LiquidAgents Healthcare?
LiquidAgents Healthcare is seeking an Accounting Manager. This role will assist the Controller in the day-to-day accounting activities including general ledger accounting, account reconciliations and financial statement reporting in a multi-company setting. This is a hands-on position that requires the ability to work with multiple departments to resolve issues that arise in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, hardworking, detail-oriented, and possess strong accounting skills.
Responsibilities:
· Provide support to the Controller regarding the oversight of policies, procedures, and internal controls
· Oversee the month-end close process and preparation of financial statement package for three companies
· Ensure financial transactions and reporting prepared in accordance with US GAAP
· Oversee the proper account coding and expense categorization
· Review and/or prepare account analysis, reconciliations, and journal entries
· Create weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting for management team
· Assist with external audit, tax return support, and other 3rd party compliance requests
· Research and respond to inquiries from management as needed
· Complete special projects or other duties as assigned
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
· Experience with Oracle NetSuite and pivot tables (preferred)
· Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)
· 5 years of experience in an accounting role
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Must be able to respect, protect, and maintain highly confidential information
