Description:
This role will be responsible for the processing of cash receipts, invoicing, collections, client account reconciliations, and other various responsibilities as needed. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
· Access online reports and invoices from computerized timekeeping systems, as well as paper timecards to prepare weekly invoices for clients.
· Demonstrate understanding, as well as, interpreting contract terms as they relate to billing.
· Prepares and processes billing adjustments, such as credits and debits, into billing software and technologies in an accurate manner.
· Work with internal teams on account aging and dispute resolution
· Generate and send account statements to clients as needed.
· Manage collections processes of the team to ensure timely billing and collection of all outstanding accounts receivable.
· Assist the team in working with clients, sales, and payroll to identify and address any billing discrepancies or issues.
· Maintain client records in accounting software to ensure up-to-date billing and credit information.
· Meet regularly with other production and back-office staff for escalated issues and provide disputed status updates.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
· 1 to 3 years of previous accounts receivable experience preferred
· Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) & NetSuite preferred
· Operate office equipment including computers, copiers, scanners, and 10-key calculator.
· Strong organizational skills
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Ability to prioritize and multi-task as well as problem solve
· Compensation: Hourly – negotiable based on experience
