Position Description
You will support National Security Objectives where you’ll get to use your foreign language skills to research, translate / transcribe / gist, report, and analyze foreign intelligence. Utilize your abilities in cryptologic language analysis to process audio and / or graphic materials to provide key target insight to decision makers in support of SIGINT operations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a US citizen with an active TS / SCI with Poly.
- 10 yrs full-time experience or 14 without degree
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional yrs of work experience.
- ILR Skill Level 3 in Audio or Graphic
- 10 yrs in crypto language processing, related language, and / or crypto experience - QC'ing, mentoring, and demonstrating all crypto skills mentioned below.
o 6 of 10 yrs in crypto language processing (see below)
o 4 of 6 yrs performing crypto language processing
o 3 of 6 yrs simply translating, transcribing, and gisting
o 1 yr experience QC’ing at ILR level 3 in target language
Crypto experience includes scanning, recovering EEIs, gisting, translating / transcribing, compiling working aids and databases.
